‘He Threw Her Under The Bus’: Internet Blasts Ben Affleck for Leaving Ex Jennifer Garner High and Dry After She’s Spotted Wallowing, Shopping at Sam’s Club
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are over the moon since they tied the knot for the second time this week. The couple is surely not over the honeymoon phase and is celebrating their love in the grandest way possible. The two are starting a new chapter in their lives which proves that they are over their exes. Perhaps this is why Ben Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, was not on the guest list and was rather shopping her feelings away.
Jennifer Garner was not invited to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s wedding
The Deep Water actor was married to Jennifer Garner for over a decade, and the two also share three children. However, despite their long history, the actress was nowhere to be seen as Ben Affleck married Jennifer Lopez in his lavish plantation house in Georgia. The ceremony was no doubt full of celebrities from across Hollywood, but surely one name was missing. Perhaps, the actress was invited but did not attend to avoid any awkwardness during the celebration.
Ben Affleck’s decision to not invite Jennifer Garner was motivated by his past statements
However, fans think differently. Some believe that the actor purposefully did not invite the actress because he was extremely unhappy in the marriage. In a previous interview with People, the actor had blamed his marriage for the reason behind his excessive drinking. He stated,
“I’d probably still be drinking. It’s part of why I started drinking…because I was trapped. I was like, ‘I can’t leave ’cause of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’ What I did was drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.”
His accusations were not met well at the time. However, it is possible that he just wished to avoid stirring up negative feelings on the day of his marriage and thus, decided to keep his ex-wife away.

Twitter gives its opinion on Jennifer Garner’s absence from the wedding
It doesn’t seem like Jennifer Garner was bothered since she was seen shopping at Sam’s Club with her dad and her boyfriend. The actress looked perfectly fine and even smiled in some of the pictures. However, people on Twitter had their opinions about the actress’ absence from the wedding.
