“He would end up worse than Goose”: Justin Bieber Once Taunted Top Gun Star Tom Cruise For a UFC Fight With MMA Legend Conor McGregor As Host
It was very unusual when one day Justin Bieber randomly woke up and decided to tweet that he wants to fight actor Tom Cruise. Over the years, Justin Bieber has received backlash for a lot of controversial statements. In 2019, the singer randomly tried to start a feud with Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise. The singer wanted to fight the actor in the octagon. UFC champion Conor McGregor offered to host the fight as well.
Justin Bieber wanted to fight Tom Cruise
Singer Justin Bieber openly challenged Tom Cruise to an MMA fight in his tweet in 2019. The singer tweeted,
“I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don’t take this fight your [sic] scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?”
The singer mentioned Dana White in the tweet as well. Dana White is currently the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, a global mixed martial arts organization.
Conor McGregor offered to host the fight
UFC champion Conor McGregor saw his tweet and offered to host the fight. He tweeted,
“If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, as he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”
Justin Bieber and Conor McGregor tried their best to convince Tom Cruise to fight but the actor did not reply.

Justin Bieber apparently hates Tom Cruise
Only a month after he publicly took a dig at Tom Cruise, the singer took part in the viral Bottle Cap Challenge and joked that the cap “could be Tom Cruise‘s head” and then kicked the bottle’s cap. He later talked about it in an episode of Carpool Karaoke. James Corden told the singer that he will place his bets on Tom Cruise, to which the singer replied,
“I try not to let my ego get in the way, but there’s absolutely no way. He’s not the guy you see in movies. That’s a character. [Being in] phenomenal shape doesn’t mean you’re a good fighter … I’m dangerous. My agility is crazy!”
Justin Bieber was recently diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, which caused him to have partial facial paralysis. Fortunately, the singer recovered after 2 months and recently performed at Lucca Summer Festival in Italy.
