The Batman fans can get their own physical copies of the movie and finally get to stream it digitally, but Christian Bale, ex-The Dark Knight hasn’t been around to watch it yet.

While appearing at the premiere of the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, Variety questioned the star what he thought about Robert Pattinson in The Batman, to which he answered,

“I still haven’t seen it. I will see it.” Bale continued, “Listen mate, it’s amazing how few films I see. Every director I work with, I’ve seen a couple of their films and they’re always looking at me going, ‘Are you kidding?’ I like to really savor films and I don’t watch too many. But I will, I certainly will.”

Bale spoke really highly of Robert Pattinson and his cinematic journey so far, saying, “Robert is an absolutely wonderful actor. We bumped into each other, talked a little bit about it ahead of time, and I heard wonderful things.” Prior to the film’s release, Bale’s one piece of advice to the next Caped Crusader was to “be able to pee by yourself” while wearing the batsuit. However, that was all, as Bale later said that Pattinson “doesn’t need any advice” and that “the whole point of that is that it’s bigger than any one actor.”

Talking about Bale, he joins the MCU as Gorr the God Butcher in Love and Thunder. Gorr is one the of most formidable enemies of Thor, created by writer Jason Aaron alongside artist Esad Ribić back in 2013, first appearing in The God of Thunder #2.

As per director Taika Waititi, Bale’s Gorr “tested the highest out of any villain that Marvel’s had,” something that encapsulates the likes of Loki, Thanos, Ronan, and Killmonger’s performances that MCU fans have come to praises as the franchise’s best antagonists ever.
