T.J. Holmes’ praised the marriage of co-anchor Amy Robach with her husband Andrew Shue a year before the alleged affair was made public. And now that all of this has come to light, their fans are raising questions. Ironic, actually!
Holmes raised a lot of questions when he expressed admiration for his co-host Amy Robach’s marriage to her husband despite the fact that both were married to other people. His close relationship with Shue’s husband was also the subject of rumors.

T.J. Holmes, 45, introduced Amy Robach and Andrew Shue, on the ABC news program as the two were promoting their children’s book, Better Together, in October 2021.
He continued by stating that Robach and Shue are unquestionably two of his favorite people on the planet as they appeared on the talk show. The Arkansas native continued, “So, of course, you all know Amy Robach and her husband Andrew Shue, who is a dear, dear friend, as well.”
Holmes went on to say that the couple met after they were both divorced and had kids from previous relationships. The actor had three sons, and the 20/20 reporter had two girls. He continued by calling their relationship “a love story like no other.”

The show’s segment was shot a year before information about the hosts’ alleged relationship became public. The Daily Mail captured the couple cuddling in photos taken in November. The photos and the status of their relationship with their current spouses were not immediately addressed by either broadcaster.
Robach and Shue remain wed, and in 2010, the former CNN correspondent also married Marilee Fiebig. Following rumors, the two shut down their individual Instagram accounts, and Holmes shut down his Twitter account.
According to an insider, the journalists’ relationship “blossomed from a close friendship” and “their work trips away together brought them even closer,” a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly. The insider even revealed that they were trying to keep their relationship a secret until they were ready to announce it. Several GMA staff members were aware that something was going on between Holmes and Robach.
They always had fun together, acting like a couple in a relationship. Everyone in the office could see that there had been a spark between Holmes and Robach for many months. It didn’t seem like they were trying to hide their relationship any longer.
