Last week, Tristan Thompson was met with a huge personal tragedy, as his mother passed away in a quite sudden manner. But he has constant support to help him through the hard phase. Khloe Kardashian refuses to leave Thompson’s side, despite being deceived by him in every possible manner. This time around as well, she has been there with him since the news came and is ready to comfort him in any way possible – including traveling with him to Toronto to visit his late mother and arrange her funeral.

Khloe Kardashian – a full-time emotional support system for Tristan Thompson?

Last Thursday, on January 5, Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian reached Toronto via a private jet hours after the NBA player’s mother, Andrea Thompson suffered a heart attack. She was quickly taken to the hospital where she succumbed to cardiac arrest and passed away. The two were also later accompanied by the SKKN founder who then flew back to L.A. with her sister on Monday.

Reports have suggested that The Kardashians star was quite close to the former Chicago Bulls player’s mother and is therefore leaving no stone unturned in helping her baby daddy brave through this grief, and do everything she can to comfort him.

The two share daughter True, 4, and an infant son, born last August. Soon after their son was conceived via surrogacy, the former Cleveland Cavalier revealed that he had cheated on the KUWTK star and fathered a son with Maralee Nichols. This was not the first instance of Thompson’s infidelity. He has rightfully earned the tag of a serial cheater due to being disloyal to the 38-year-old innumerable times in their almost 6 years of on-again-off-again relationship.

Despite getting “dogged and humiliated” by the 31-year-old, as Kim Kardashian poetically put it, Khloe K refuses to leave his side. They continue to act as co-parents and celebrate events and holidays together for the sake of their kids. However, being Thompson’s emotional support system should not be a task on her to-do list, especially after all the trauma he has publicly put her through.

The father of four is going to host his mother’s funeral this week. Sources from TMZ have revealed that the service, already planned and paid for by Thompson, would be “an intimate and beautiful celebration of her [Andrea’s] life”.

Reports have also revealed that not just Khloe, but a few others from the Kardashian Klan are also set to attend the funeral and express their support to offer comfort to the bereaved son. Kris Jenner and the SKIMS founder would also be in attendance at the service.

Fans can’t help but ask, shouldn’t there be a limit to forgiveness?
