Hollywood Star Demands Prince William to Suffer the Same Fate as Will Smith For Assaulting His Brother Prince Harry
How can anyone forget one of the greatest moments for the meme culture from the past year? The infamous Will Smith–Chris Rock slapping incident not only was the most “meme-able” moment of last year, but also raised a lot of questions. The single moment from the 94th Academy awards overwhelmed the entire celebration of the night and the remarkable wins. Will Smith was ridiculed after the incident by the internet and “canceled” in the language of Social Media.
Similarly, in the highly anticipated autobiography by the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry revealed a similar incident involving his brother. Prince William, according to the book Spare, physically assaulted Prince Harry and called his wife Meghan Markle names. Nicola Thorp, an actress, and columnist, now wants the same rules to be applicable for the British royal as well.
The altercation between Prince Harry and Prince William
As described in the autobiography by Prince Harry, the dramatic scene occurred at his London home in 2019. Prince William called Meghan Markle “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”. The altercation then extended to a level where one had to raise hands on the other.
““He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”.Prince harry described.
“Are you serious? Help me? Sorry—is that what you call this? Helping me?” conveying his disbelief.
However, Prince Willam looked dejected and regretful after he urged Prince Harry to hit him back like in the good old days. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are both terribly sad that this happened.
Hello! magazine reached out to the British Royals for testing if the incident had any truth to it but the palace chose to remain quiet about the matter. Therefore the speculation of it being true is now being considered.

Fans are upset as well as disappointed that the two brothers who were so fond of each other throughout their childhood have come to despise each other.
Nicola Thorp, an actress, also shared her thoughts and demanded the internet to punish Prince William equally as Will Smith after the Oscar incident in her tweet. The alleged crime they both did in the court of public opinion has many punishments. She wants Prince William to face the same consequences as Will Smith, given the severity of both the occurrencese. She tweeted,

Nicola Thorp also called Prince William “fresh prince of wales” parodying Will Smith’s famous TV series Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She feels they both should suffer the same faith which is the wrath of the internet. Christopher Wilson, the journalist also tweeted,

In response to which a commenter commented,
“It’s disappointing, yes… Must have been crushing for both of them to see how far rock bottom their relationship hit.”
And another user wrote,
“Oh come on now! We all know they are HUMAN. They make mistakes. They have frailties. This is the modern era and no one sees them as saints or angels straight from heaven.”
The fans and the well-wishers of the British Royal family seemed to understand the layers of their relationship and did not belittle the situation for the drama of it.
