Arrowverse has always been one of the biggest franchises in CW which will be complete a decade this October. It is set around a shared fictional multiverse much like the DC Universe and DC Multiverse in comic books, which has established multiple crossovers within the plot, characters, or even elements. Interestingly, The Flash which came out in 2014 has achieved a milestone, which is now being trolled for this achievement.
2014’s The Flash is a superhero spin-off series of Arrow that revolves around the Barry Allen incarnation of DC Comics character the Flash, who has the power to move at superhuman speeds. Being well acclaimed by the critics and audiences, in 2021, it was renewed for the eighth season while its ninth season has been renewed in March this year.

The finale of Season 8th that premiered this week made ‘The Flash’ become the longest-running show within the Arrowverse, having a total of 171 episodes so far. While the spin-off series is expected to cross over 170 episodes as the show is now been renewed for the ninth season.
Meanwhile, it still has a long way to go as the longest-running live-action DC TV series, Smallville had 10 seasons with 217 episodes. Though, nothing could be said about the future of the show when the Cw has been canceled with shows like Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow) or retconned out of the Arrowverse’s “Earth-Prime” continuity (Superman & Lois and Stargirl).
Though the show was run for quite a while, the people came on Twitter and shared how they felt regarding the series. Check out the tweets below.

Yeah. I usually have low standards for CW shows, but season 7 was hella too cringe for me.
