It has been rumored that actor Elliot Page would be instated for the role of Flash instead of Ezra Miller who is one of the popular stars who has been engulfed with controversies in the franchise. Not only him, but another DCEU celebrity, Amber Heard was also in the limelight with her controversial lawsuit that ended the previous month.
With all these actors constantly in the public eye, the franchise is also being affected by it. What would happen if they replace actors like Amber Heard and Ezra Miller from the franchise, what would it change?
Will Elliot Page Replace Ezra Miller From The Flash
Though Elliot Page is a good bet for Warner Bros Discovery for the role of Flash however the franchise hasn’t been discussed with the star. He is a renowned personality in the industry who already had some experience with sci-fi through the X-Men and Umbrella Academy franchises. He is on the good side as fans were excited when the rumors about him replacing Miller came into existence.
However, replacing Miller in The Flash will be a challenge for the franchise as they had already done the movie with a budget of $200 million on the movie. if they were to cast The Umbrella Academy actor in the movie, it would take another $200 million on the reshooting and other aspects making the total budget of $400 million, which would be difficult to break.
However, the studio has decided to remove Miller from future projects as Deadline revealed that “the studio won’t likely keep Miller in the Flash role in future DC films.”
Will Amber Heard Be Removed From The DCEU Franchise?
Amber Heard’s defamation trial was all over the Internet with her ex-husband Johnny Depp winning the case while the former was ordered to pay Johnny Depp $10.35 million in damages.
