“I and Katy sometimes battle with our emotions”: Orlando Bloom Admits His Relationship With Katy Perry is Challenging
Over the past few years, singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have faced many setbacks in their relationship. The actor recently talked about their bond which is on the verge of falling apart. The two share a daughter, Daisy Dove, and started dating back in 2016 after they met at the Golden Globes after-party.
The two first announced their split in 2017 but got back together just five months later. They got engaged in 2019 and now it seems like things are stable as they are trying their best to save their relationship.

Actor Orlando Bloom recently sat down with Flaunt magazine and talked about his “challenging” relationship with singer Katy Perry. He told the magazine,
“I and Katy sometimes battle with our emotions and creativity and at times. Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging. I won’t lie.”
The couple welcomed a daughter named Daisy Dove on 26th August 2020. The actor also opened up about his experience of being a father in the interview.
The actor said there’s “never a dull moment“
Orlando Bloom further explained that although things are complicated, there’s still never a dull moment in their relationship. He said,
“I think we’re both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did, and there’s definitely never a dull moment.”
The actor previously revealed in an interview with People that he gets a lot of support from Katy Perry and reciprocates the same energy. He said,
“I think we support each other because we are fans of one another, you know what I mean? What she does is so empowering for young musicians with everything with [American] Idol.”
In the same interview, the actor revealed that their daughter is “growing fast, big, strong and healthy” and he “can’t be more blessed than that.”
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry started dating in 2016
The two first met back in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party. They immediately connected and were spotted in public together multiple times. Just one year later, it was revealed that the two have ended their relationship and are taking a “respectful, loving space” from each other.
However, just 5 months later, they were spotted together at an Ed Sheeran concert as sources confirmed that they have reconciled. In 2019, the two announced that they got engaged and one year later, they welcomed their daughter.
