Prince Harry has been making headlines for a very long time now. The Duke of Sussex has tried many ways of telling his side of the story that has not been necessarily successful. Last month, his docuseries, Harry & Meghan was released on Netflix. The couple made the series in order to improve their social image which has been ruined recently in the UK. However, that did not work out in their favor and they ended up losing the support they had in the US as well.
Last week, the Duke of Sussex’s tell-all memoir, Spare was also released. It was later pointed out by an expert that Prince Harry’s way of dealing with these matters is weirdly similar to stars like Britney Spears and Selena Gomez.
Prince Harry tried to sort out the Royal Family conflicts in a private manner
In the 60 Minutes interview, Prince Harry revealed why he didn’t deal with his family matters in a private manner. According to the Duke of Sussex, he did try to deal with his family matters privately. But, it did not work in his favor. He even mentioned that whenever he tried to do so, “there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife.” It became so bad at one point that the Duke of Sussex just lost his patience. He said he would rather tell the true story from his side than hear false ones from an “unnamed source“.
The similarity between the Duke of Sussex and Britney Spears
A personal brand strategist, Katarina Terentieva talked about this similarity on one of her podcasts recently. She explained how Britney Spears and the Duke of Sussex are similar in this peculiar way. She said, “The desire to tell all, especially with people like Prince Harry, typically comes from the frustration that your story has been told by everyone but you“.
The same thing happened with the Princess of Pop. As soon as she got out of her conservatorship and started telling her side of the story, many labeled her crazy. For the unversed, Spears was under a conservatorship under her father for almost 13 years. According to sources, Spears was also working on her tell-all memoir but it got delayed due to an unknown reason. Katarina Terentieva opened up about her personal views on Prince Harry’s actions. She said, “While I don’t agree with everything he’s doing, I don’t think we have the right to judge what he’s going through.”
According to sources, Prince Harry’s book Spare has received positive feedback from people so far. It broke the single-day sales record for a non-fiction book with a whopping 1.43 million copies sold on its opening day.
