The perturbed royal staff reported ‘feeling sick’ before working with the Sussexes, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The author of a new royal book has claimed on Good Morning Britain, the royal couple reportedly made their courtiers sick to their stomachs with their continued ‘tests’ for loyalty.

The claims were made in a conversation with Susanna Reid, host of Good Morning Britain, by The Times royal correspondent and author of the shocking new royal book ‘Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown‘, Valentine Low.

Valentine Low claimed that Prince Harry was being ‘Paranoid’

The Royal reporter, Valentine Low was referring to an allegation in his most recent book that a “paranoid” Prince Harry would do “loyalty tests” on Palace staff to see if they were still “fighting for him.” The journalist described how the Sussex Survivors Club was started by palace staff who worked with the Sussexes while they were active royals.

Susanna Reid, the host of Good Morning Britain, asked him if the staff had started the “group,” to which he answered, “Absolutely, yes.” When Reid asked the journalist about what the staff had to go through, he replied that it was a very ‘difficult experience’ for some of them. According to Mr. Low, in his book, Prince Harry reportedly ended up being the ‘key instigator’ for it all. He’d reportedly look for the “Palace syndrome” which proved the courtiers had become ‘institutionalized’ and ‘against them.’

“Meghan Markle bullied Staffs”- Valentine Low says

In the interview with Mrs. Raid, Valentine Low continued, “As I revealed last year, there were allegations that Meghan bullied staff. People talked to me of people being completely destroyed.” “I’ve heard people at the time, faced with a possible encounter with Meghan, were saying things like ‘I feel sick’ or ‘I’m shaking’ – extraordinary things for an employee to say about the prospect of seeing their employer in half-an-hour”, he said.

According to the claims made by Mr. Low, the royal staff was said to be wracked by nerves and some even left ‘shaking’ ahead of meetings. Earlier too, there were rumors and claims of Meghan Markle not treating the staff properly. She made the Protection officers run errands and treat them like ‘servants‘ while they were in Canada in 2020.

Were the courtiers responsible for Meghan Markle-Prince Harry leaving the Royal House?

Valentine Low says that there was a way that the courtiers were in some way responsible for the couple’s acrimonious ‘Megxit’ split from frontline royal duties in January 2020. He said: “There is a way in which the courtiers are to blame. So the people around them were doing their best, these were people who believed in Harry and Meghan and they wanted to help”.

But there were signs early on, in the first year or so of their marriage, there were signs of how unhappy Harry and Meghan were: and no one really did anything about that. No one picked it up, no one flagged it up and there were no big discussions with the most senior courtiers in the institution.”

However, he concluded that he did not think it would have made any difference.
