“I love her more than him”: Katy Perry Finds Best Friend in Husband Orlando Bloom’s Ex-Wife Miranda Kerr as Australian Model Claims She Loves Singer More Than Her Former Husband
It is refreshing to see Katy Perry and Miranda Kerr’s relationship developed over the years. Seemingly there has been no bitterness between the two women ever. Before Perry got married to Orlando Bloom, he was previously married to Kerr. That is the link that introduced the Fireworks singer to Victoria’s Secret model. And instead of keeping their distance from each other, the two got much closer. And over the years they both have struck a friendship full of love and appreciation towards each other. In all of it, the key factor that helped with this outcome is Kerr and Bloom’s son Flynn. Being with the Carnival Row actor, led Perry to take part in caring for the kid. And ultimately this resulted in everyone getting along with each other.
Miranda Kerr Prefers Katy Perry’s Company Over Orlando Bloom
After getting married to Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry also took part in taking care of Bloom’s son from his previous marriage. And unexpectedly it resulted in the singer getting close to her partner’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr. The model was married to the Carnival Row actor from 2010-2013 and they share a son named Flynn (12). The kid seemed to have worked as a link which brought everyone closer. As Perry attended many of the family events, she eventually got close to Kerr during these meetings. Moreover, their shared feeling for Flynn’s welfare dissolved any tension that might have presented itself. All three of them seem to be appreciative of each other.
In fact, their relationship has become so close that over the years Perry has actually become best friends with her husband’s former wife. The two have never failed to express appreciation for each other. They have discussed it several times in interviews and even on social media. Kerr has also mentioned how grateful she was for the Last Friday Night singer.
Furthermore back in 2021, the model shared jokingly that she preferred Perry’s company more than her former husband’s. While guest appearing on the Moments with Candace Parker podcast, she said,
“We celebrate all the important milestones together. I love her,”
Additionally, the businesswoman also noted that she liked the singer “more” than Bloom. Perry for her part has also constantly shown support to Kerr via her social media posts. This is definitely a win for fans from both sides.
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s Relationship
Before meeting Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom had been married to Miranda Kerr which lasted three years. After calling it quits in 2013 the former couple issued a joint statement saying,
“Despite this being the end of [our] marriage, [we] love, support and respect each other as both parents of [our] son and as family.”
As far as it is known, they decided to separate on amicable terms, and still to date they have family meetings together. Kerr is currently married to Evan Spiegel while Bloom tied the knot with Perry in 2019. The Carnival Row actor met his wife during the 2016 Golden Globes after-party. Following that the actor shared that he found Perry “intriguing” and he ultimately proposed to her in 2019. The couple shares a two-year-old daughter which they welcomed in 2020.
