Lebanese-American media influencer and former adult film actor, Mia Khalifa is a renowned personality. Khalifa, whose real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, has been pretty vocal about the abusive side of the adult film industry and how in so many ways she feels like a victim of the same.
However, she does enjoy a substantial following on the NSFW content-sharing platform, OnlyFans, and has often come in defense of the network that earns her bread and butter. Recently, Khalifa made claims of ‘scamming’ her customers on OnlyFans, and people are quite divided and shocked about the entire matter.
Mia Khalifa jokes about “scamming” OnlyFans customers
Mia Khalifa was a guest on Ziwe Fumudoh’s show, Ziwe where the two discussed the difference between a traditional acting career, the porn industry, and selling content on OnlyFans. Khalifa has claimed that the content that she sells on the platform is strictly non-n*de or suggested n*de, and any indecent requests are not entertained. Fumudoh asked her guest, “How do you engage with your audience on your platform?”
The former adult movie actress replied,
“Just by talking sh*t to them. I’m the meanest person ever. If someone comes at me the wrong way and says like ‘send me XXX content’, I’ll pull out a notepad and I’ll write XXX and send it to them and charge them $15 to unlock it.
I really have a lot of fun on there with the people who don’t respect my boundaries, ’cause I scam them.”
This statement caught fans off-guard who were divided over Khalifa’s stance. Several supported her for showing the brazen customers their place. However, many had questions like what if a man scammed his viewers like that?

The unbelievably shocking amount of money earned on OnlyFans
Khalifa was also asked about her earnings via OnlyFans. Fumudoh ventured the question, “Larsa Pippen earns $10,000 a day on OnlyFans. How much do you earn per day?”
To which came the reply: “Around that ($10k).”
The 29-year-old was in news some time ago for making another controversial claim on Ziwe itself. On being asked about the taboo of selling your body on OnlyFans, she retorted that any job is selling your body. Someone has been watching Peaky Blinders apparently. Who can forget Tommy Shelby’s iconic line, “Everyone’s a whore, Grace. We just sell different parts of ourselves.”

However, the influencer went one step forward to compare army service to adult content creation. The host asked, “Is there a difference between these industries or are we all fundamentally selling out bodies in some way?”
And Khalifa was quick with her response, “Honestly, I think that selling your body, like if we are going by that definition, being in the Army is worse than being on OnlyFans. You’re selling your body to the government.”
This chain of thought sparked quite a debate on the internet. Several were in sheer awe of the logic while some defended the army’s position against alleged obscenity. However, the fact remains that practical professionals like doctors, who are considered to be a part of the higher paying job criteria earning around $225k a year, do not earn anything close to women like Mia Khalifa who claim to earn $10k every day by simply posting a few pictures. The idea itself seems unbelievable but we live in a world…
