There was a time when Tom Cruise was together with Nicole Kidman. Before divorcing, they were one of the most popular 90s couples. Although they were happily married with two adopted kids, it did not prevent rumors and questions to arise. The fact that they never had any biological children, despite Kidman wishing for one, gave people ideas.

Being in a relationship for more than 10 years, it seemed Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise were the perfect couple. During their marriage, they even adopted two kids, whom the pair loved with all their hearts. In a 1995 interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman shared life after bringing in the kids. The Golden Compass actor shared how she and Cruise had to make time for themselves.
They were clearly in love with each other, but the responsibility of being parents gave them no time for romance. Kidman said,
“It’s about saying, Honey, I really, really need time with you alone. I need a dinner date!”
Moreover, the Cold Mountain star also revealed her husband (now ex) was a very romantic person. But despite the promising aspect of their decade-long marriage, the two ended up separating. Their marriage came to an end back in 2001. It was said to be due to Cruise’s Scientology association for the large part.
However, there were some reports at the time that suggested it might have been the two miscarriages Kidman suffered that led to the end of their relationship. This came from the fact that even after 10 years of marriage, the pair never had a child of their own.
