Selena Gomez is speaking out about how “unfair” she feels it is that young-age celebrities are sexualized. With Gomez’s latest album cover reflecting a more mature artistic representation of herself, Selena has spoken out against what she feels is the unjust amount of pressure put on younger stars to dress a certain way or perform in ways they aren’t comfortable with.

When Selena Gomez Posed Nude For Revival

Selena Gomez has become known for making daring moves, and now she has taken the plunge once again by revealing that she posed nude for her second album when she was 24. She echoed loud that:

I actually did an album cover and I was really ashamed after I did it. I had to work through those feelings because I realized it was attached to something deep that was going on. And it was a choice that I wasn’t necessarily happy that I made, but I think that I’ve done my best, at least I try to be myself.

I’m Not An Overly Sexual Person – Said Gomez

The famous singer didn’t like the idea of the album cover and hence, posted a very limited caption while announcing the release date over her social media platform.

I felt like it was very difficult for people to take me seriously. I have slowly pushed through that. And I’m really glad, but it was very frustrating. I felt like a joke, you know?
