Miley Cyrus is the daughter of the very famous and well-established singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Of course, her popularity has surpassed anything imaginable but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t recognize her privilege. She had a bizarre childhood, having a famous father and then being one of the most famous people in the world at such a young age made things really difficult for her sometimes. But that doesn’t mean she is not proud of the way she was raised and honestly, fans are too after taking a closer look at some of the celebrities.
Back in the Hannah Montana days, rumors of her family “using her” was in the news. In response to that she said,
“if anything, I used my dad.”
She then went to thank her father for all the opportunities. Her relationship with fame was summed up in her own words by saying she went from having everything to having even more whereas, her father went from zero to one hundred. She is glad she did not have to deal with sudden fame and is proud of all the hard work her parents did to give her a beautiful life.
Is Miley Cyrus on good terms with her father?
The answer to this question currently will be no, she is not. The Instagram unfollow made it official. An insider spilled,
“The divorce between her parents have put a strain on her relationship with her dad and it’s been hard to connect with him in the last year–She hopes they can eventually work on their relationship. She, of course, hopes he is happy. But Miley has been closer to her mom Tish throughout the divorce.”
But Miley Cyrus eventually wants to make amends with her now-estrange father. His budding romantic relationship with a 20-something-year-old put a dent in the father-daughter duo. Miley Cyrus’ parents were married for over three decades, therefore the divorce has been tough for the whole family. This led her to grow closer to her mother and get a bit distant from her father. That doesn’t mean she is devoid of love and respect in her heart for her father for giving her this lovely life. Her down-to-earth attitude really surprises her fans sometimes.
