The American actor and producer did also have a relationship with another such Hollywood diva and businesswoman, Gwyneth Kate Paltrow. Pitt proposed to her in December 1996, and the two of them dated for two years. However, they never got to walk down the aisle because they called it quits just six months later.

The former couple first connected while working on the 1994 film Seven, and soon began dating. The Ad Astra actor later admitted to falling for Paltrow on set, saying, “I knew immediately.”

It was discovered later that Weinstein had chosen the actress to play the lead role in Emma. He thus invited Paltrow, who was 22 at the time, to his hotel room in the guise of a meeting. But as soon as they arrived at the hotel, the producer is said to have touched Paltrow and suggested getting a massage in the bedroom. Brad Pitt was later informed of the incident by the Iron Man 2 actress, which made him threaten Weinstein at the Hamlet premiere.
During a May 2018 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, The Avengers actress talked about the incident and shared what Pitt had said to Weinstein. She recalled,
“If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.”
Additionally, the actress covered a range of topics related to the significance of his ex-boyfriend’s confrontation with Weinstein. The Royal Tenenbaums actress concluded,
“It was the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically. It was so fantastic because what he did was, he leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet. He’s the best.”

Brad Pitt opens up about supporting Gwyneth Paltrow
In a CNN interview, Brad Pitt went into greater detail about his reasons for challenging one of Hollywood’s most dominant and intimidating producers. The interview with the Vampire actor recalled,
“At that time, I was just an Ozarks boy on the playground, and that’s how we dealt with things. I just wanted to make sure nothing was going to happen further, because Paltrow was going to do two (more) films (with Weinstein).”
According to reports, in October 2017, about 80 women came forward to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment and abuse. This happened during the MeToo movement. Weinstein was accused of r*pe, was found guilty of the charge, and was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
