“I’m in love with Kaley, I really want to be with Kaley”: Jim Parsons’ Strange Reaction to Johnny Galecki Confessing His Love For Kaley Cuoco During Big Bang Theory Saga

The Big Bang Theory will for sure go down in history as one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. The show had its first season aired in 2007 and was an instant hit among the fans. The show went on to run for a total of 12 seasons before it came to an end in 2019. Ever since the first episode, there was definitely a connection between Johnny Galecki’s and Kaley Cuoco’s characters. However, even the actors had an instant connection on their first meeting was something the world did not know about until they started dating in real life as well in 2008.

In The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco talked about how they revealed their relationship to the cast. Some of the cast members like Jim Parsons had a particularly sweet reaction to the news.

Johnny Galecki wanted to keep his relationship a secret from the cast

In an excerpt, Kaley Cuoco revealed that she had a thing for Galecki since the very beginning. She said, “He has such swagger. We were both dating people at the time, but I only had eyes for Johnny.” Cuoco revealed that she and Galecki already had a huge crush on each other before they kissed on set as Penny and Leonard. She said, “I mean, I was kissing him as Penny before we ever dated, and it’s weird when you have a crush on someone and you’re kissing them as actors.”

Cuoco further revealed that after they started seeing each other, she wanted to tell everybody instantly. However, Johnny Galecki had different plans in mind. She said, “Johnny can get really in his head and want to hide, whereas I’m the direct opposite. I would have told everybody the next day at the table read.” But they did not tell everybody then.

Eventually, Cuoco and Galecki decided that it was best to tell the rest of the cast about their relationship. So, they decided to start with Jim Parsons. Cuoco talked about revealing the news to Jim Parsons and said, “We call Jim on speaker, and Johnny says, ‘I’m in love with Kaley’, or ‘I really want to be with Kaley’, and Jim goes, ‘Ah! Does she know?!” Kaley Cuoco further revealed that started laughing and told Parsons that yes she knows and she was there with Galecki.

Although their relationship did not work out, it did not ruin the show as well. According to sources, the couple broke up on good terms, and they managed to make their jobs work even after the breakup.
