“I’m not cutting my f—king hair for you”: Pretty Little Liars Star Lucy Hale Explains Why She Prefers Dating Older Men
Lucy Hale has pretty high standards of dating and she has not been silent about it. The American actress rose to fame for her role in the series Pretty Little Liars and became established in the industry. In a recent interview, Hale talked about how she is not ready to change even a bit of herself for someone else. She has several non-negotiables and she is not ready to change them for any guy in her life. The Dude actress further explained why she prefers to date older men than younger men.
Lucy Hale had a fling with 51-year-old Skeet Ulrich last year
The American actress recently appeared on Rachel Bilson’s Broad Ideas podcast. In the episode, Lucy Hale talked about how she has a unique dating age limit on dating apps. She said, “I’ve dated all the way up to 52 — from 27 to 52.” Although she does prefer dating older men in general, she explained that she is confident and will probably settle down with someone of her age or slightly older. The Hating Game actress had a brief fling with Skeet Ulrich in 2021. They dated for almost a month but it did not work out. When Bilson asked about what it was like dating Skeet Ulrich last year, Hale said, “I loved it. No bulls**t, almost.”
The Pretty Little Liars actress likes to date older men
Lucy Hale explained that she is not so much into younger men. She said, “I end up saying no to a lot of the younger ones.” The American actress further added that she moved past the stage where she was into playing games with such things. Hale said,
“No games is a panty dropper. … I was addicted to that chase for a while. But that’s exhausting and we’ve moved past that. No games.“
Hale further explained that younger guys want to change the way she looks and she is definitely not into it. She said,
“I couldn’t tell you the amount of times when guys were like, ‘You should grow your hair out again. I like long hair. I’m like, ‘I’m not cutting my f–king hair for you.’ I cut my hair for me.“
Lucy Hale even said that she has not been in a committed relationship for years because of her ‘non-negotiables‘. Regardless of that, she is still hopeful that she will find her soulmate soon enough if she is patient.
