“I’m pretty traumatized for life and I’m pissed as f***”: Britney Spears Says She Will Never Perform Again, Feels Betrayed After Working With the Most Offensive People in Her Life
The Princess of Pop, Britney Spears, has numerous successful records credited to her name. Spears began her career in her early teens and quickly made it to the top. The 40-year-old has well-earned her image and respect but has had many ups and downs in her public life. Spears, who achieved success at quite a young age has seen it all. The pop star has recently shared her frustration with the now-ended conservatorship that lasted for 13 years.
Britney Spears took to Instagram to talk about her conservatorship trauma
The Grammy winner, got on her Instagram to share her tormenting experience. She shared a couple of audio clips this Sunday, talking about how angered she was. The Oops I Did It Again singer talked about how she had no rights over her own pictures and videos.
“I will be honest in the beginning 13 years of conservatorship like 8 videos I only like one – Work Bitch … the most offensive SO CALLED professional pictures on every tour,” she penned in her caption. The pop star voiced out about how she felt betrayed. She added that she didn’t like anything which was posted during the time of her conservatorship.
The star felt cheated as she was made to work with offensive people
Britney Spears claimed that she had to deal with a very unprofessional team. The Toxic singer also said that she was pestered by the offensive behavior they displayed throughout.
She went on to say, “I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me … just saying … 2 day shoots for a new show in Vegas literally the worst ever … and me excited for the pictures for 5 months on tour … they never showed me any … I’d rather quit shit in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life.”
In fact, the singer explained how she was never even shown her own pictures before they were out for everyone to see.
Britney Spears is firm on never performing again due to her past trauma
The best-selling teenage artist said that she’ll never perform again in this life. “I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m pissed as f*** and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point,” she added
Spears also mentioned that she disliked the troupe of dancers who were hired to perform on stage beside her.
The star who just came out of a conservatorship last year has still not been able to step out of the trauma. Spears regularly posts on Instagram about her experiences and annoyance during the 13 years she was controlled. Jamie Spears, her father had been in charge of her life since 2008. Such was the case until the courtroom finally took it down in 2021. Even though the end of the conservatorship will mark a year in November, it seems that the star’s trauma has made her unable to ever perform.
