There is a new Imax Version of Avengers: Endgame on Disney+ and thanks to it, fans have spotted that both Captain America and Thor were present during Iron Man’s final speech. It’s been almost three years since the Russo brothers have wrapped up the Infinity Saga with their 2019 Marvel Studios film.

And to indicate it was the end of an era, the film also functioned as the swan – song to some original Avengers, including Iron Man the OG MCU hero.

After Thanos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War, the surviving heroes Avengers went their separate ways and spent the next five years differently. Tony Stark spent time for his personal life. He married Pepper Potts and they had a daughter together named Morgan.

When they decided to go on with the time heist, he was recruited to join the mission, Tony was initially unsure of their plan; as he was afraid that it would cost him his current content life. But he just couldn’t sit on the sidelines and let his friends and teammates figure things out by themselves. In the end, he did suit back up and joined them.

Sadly, it ended up becoming his final mission as he sacrificed his life to ensure the future of the universe.

After Iron Man’s death, the primary MCU characters gathered in his cabin for his private funeral. He had already recorded a farewell speech in case he didn’t make it out of the time heist.

The emotional hologram video was played for his close friends and family.

And now, many fans are pointing out that both Steve Rogers and Thor were also present in the house during that time all thanks to Endgame’s new IMAX version available on Disney+.

The hologram message was Tony’s style of leaving a farewell message in case things didn’t go well. But it also did hint at how big the MCU had grown over the years since he debuted as Iron Man in 2008.

The original scene had Pepper and Morgan in focus; which also made sense since they were the ones who would have been most impacted by the death of Tony.  We also saw Rhodey and Happy Hogan since they were his oldest friends.

But in the background were also Captain America and Thor, but the non-Imax version of Avengers: Endgame didn’t fully show them, and just featured the neck down making them easy to miss.

Iron Man is dead in the MCU (or maybe just in the sacred timeline?) but his legacy will live on for years!
