Photos showed up on Twitter of Tobey, Andrew, and Tom together dressed in their respective Spidey costumes:

It’s either the smoking gun in the Spider-Man rumour mill, or it’s proof that some people are quite adept at photo editing. On Monday night, photos of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland dressed in their different Spidey costumes on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home surfaced on Twitter. A photo also shows Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock in the Netflix Marvel series. The photographs initially appeared on John Campea’s Twitter account. The YouTuber initially claimed that the photos were fake, but he later withdrew them after confirming that the images of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were genuine. Of course, by the time he took them down, the photos had circulated, complete with Campea’s watermark. Legado da Marvel, a Portuguese fan website, posted the photos below.

Tobey & Andrew’s versions of Spider-Man standing side by side, and Tom’s standing behind them:

A massive Spider-Man leak reveals all three Spider-Men in "No Way Home."
For the first time, a massive Spider-Man leak reveals all three Spider-Men in “No Way Home.”

There are two shots in total, but the most significant and potentially jaw-dropping disclosure is in the first, which has Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man incarnations standing side by side, with Tom Holland standing behind them. All three look to be bloodied from a recent battle, which makes sense given the rising number of known villains in the film, and Garfield appears to be chatting with someone. In the second image, Charlie Cox plays Matt Murdock, who is seated at a table with Peter Parker (Hollands), Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), and May Parker (Marisa Tomei). So, are the photographs genuine? There’s no way to tell until Sony and/or Marvel confirm them, or until the film reaches cinemas in a little over a month. At least one admirer, on the other hand, is certain they’re real. The Tobey Maguire FanClub Twitter account shared some comparative shots. They point out that Holland’s combat damage make-up is identical in both the leaked and official set photos. They also point to a spot on the railing behind Andrew Garfield that resembles a railing from the allegedly leaked camera footage of Garfield from No Way Home last month. Their similarities are shown below:

Kevin Feige was concerned about fans’ expectations for rumored Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appearances:

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was a bit worried regarding Tobey & Andrew’s Appearence

At the end of October, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige expressed worry about how fan anticipation for potential cameos by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield was growing. According to Feige, he wants “people to be pleased with the movie they receive, rather than sad about the movie they don’t get.” It’s clear what Feige means. At this moment, it’s difficult to envision fans accepting anything less than both Maguire and Garfield appearing as Spider-Man in their separate film worlds. We won’t have to wait long to find out how many Spider-Men are featured in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film, directed by Jon Watts, will be released in theatres on December 17th. While we cannot confirm or deny the presence of Tobey Maguire and/or Andrew Garfield, we can expect Tom Holland to reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya to play MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch to play Doctor Strange, Marisa Tomei to play May Parker, Jon Favreau to play Happy Hogan, J.K. Simmons to play J. Jonah Jameson, Alfred Molina to play Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx to play Electro, Thomas Haden to play Sandman and Rhys Ifans to play the Lizard.
