There are many Marvel characters whom fans want to see on the big screen soon and one of them is an arch nemesis of Thor: Beta Ray Bill. We haven’t seen him on the big screen yet and there are many questions from fans which haven’t been yet addressed by the Russos.

During a recent Q&A with Peter Sciretta, it was revealed on Twitter that Beta Ray Bill has been discussed on several occasions to be included in the films, but the creators are bound because of the current storyline. Here’s what he said:

This seems understandable as MCU hasn’t shown anything about Bill yet and introducing him out of nowhere will not be a good move. Beta Bill Ray is an intriguing character of a popular alien race called Korbanite in Marvel Comics. Apart from having advanced genetics, he’s also got super speed, durability, stamina and lifespan.

He’s good at hand-to-hand combat and is also a good competitor of Thor. Even Bill held the Stormbreaker in the comics and now that the weapon has been introduced in the MCU, we hope that the villain will not be far behind.

There are many things coming after the release of Avengers 4 and as for Phase 4, we have Spider-Man: Far From Home, coming in among other films. Even Kevin Feige hinted at the future of MCU and the direction it will take.

“Brand new heroes, new types of heroes, continuing what we see in Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Black Panther, and Captain Marvel,” Feige explained. “Who a hero can be, and should be, and seeing all different types of heroes.

We want people from any background to be able to look at that screen and see themselves reflected, and just as important to have different types of people be inspired by people who don’t look like them or people who have different backgrounds than them and let them inspire them going forward. To me, that’s the most important thing that we can do, and we’ve started it, and we’re going to continue it. We wanted to get Captain Marvel out there first so that there is something for a young Muslim girl to get inspired by.”
