Avengers: Infinity War released in April and had everything in it: Death, carnage, mayhem, and destruction, as Thanos succeeded in achieving his goal of attaining all six Infinity Stones and wiped out half of the universe’s existence. The movie served as a backstory to the Mad Titan, Thanos, and his dream to bring balance to the world.

The superheroes also teamed up to battle against the Mad Titan and protect the universe from Thanos’ misplaced sense of justice but they failed. Infinity War was the culmination of 10 years of filmmaking which began with 2008’s Iron Man and it showcased almost 40 characters. There were many heroes who were missing through the events of Infinity War but there were certain characters like Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Hank Pym and Wasp who were not seen.

Even the mighty Hulk was seen at the beginning of the film where he received a terrible beating at the hands of the Mad Titan and did not dare to come out since. We see Hulk refusing to come out even after Banner begs him to do so. This continued throughout the film. The Hulk cannot really be scared as he’s the angry personification of Banner and anger is his source of power. He cannot be afraid of getting beaten as it will just make him angrier and more dangerous.

A new theory by Reddit user tanyulong_1 has answered all these queries as the user justified Hulk’s behaviour post the beating at the hands of Thanos.

So if we go by this theory, is it possible that Doctor Strange warned Hulk not to come out? Could this be a part of Strange’s endgame? The user seems to be trying to portray a possibility of Strange controlling most aspects of the battle we saw in Infinity War.

We all know that the Avengers only won in one alternative future out of 14 million possibilities that Doctor Strange saw during the battle on planet Titan.

All these questions will be answered when Avengers 4 hits the theatres on May 3, 2019.
