Venom: Let There Be Carnage is still a month away from its theatrical release. But actor Tom Hardy is seemed to be already planning about Venom 3. In a recent interview, Hardy mentioned and discussed the possibilities of another sequel of the famous movie franchise, Venom. He even mentioned how he would like to pitch Peter Parker against his Eddie Brock.

Hardy only got to play Venom in the first movie but still, he managed to get the story credit for its second part, Venom: Let There Be Carnage. He has worked in collaboration with Kelly Marcel who is the screenwriter of the film, to bring the project to life. In the interview, Hardy talked about his experience and when he was asked: “Thinking about the third Venom movie as well because I think you need to write that at the same time.” To this, the actor replied: “a third won’t be greenlit until the second is successful, but the studio was really, really pleased with number two.”

But it seems like fans are really intrigued about how Venom 3 will look like?

To this, Hardy has echoed and reflected his wish to fight against Tom Holland’s Spiderman in Venom 3. Apparently, Hardy is still not confirmed whether Disney would agree to bring Venom into the Marvel Cinematic Universe or not but he said that he will try to bring the sequel to life. He said that:

I wouldn’t be doing the job if I wasn’t awake and open to any opportunity or eventuality or be excited by that. Obviously, that’s a large canyon to leap, to be bridged by one person alone, and it would take a much higher level of diplomacy and intelligence, sitting down and talking, to take on an arena such as that. Should both sides be willing, and it is beneficial to both sides, I don’t see why it couldn’t be. I hope and strongly, with both hands, push, eagerly, towards that potential, and would do anything to make that happen, within what’s right in business. But it would be foolish not to head towards the Olympic Games if you were running 100 meters, so yeah! I want to play on that field.”

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will include a return of Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage (Woody Harrelson). Directed by Andy Serkis, this film will also star the Spiderman villain Shriek (Naomie Harris), Reid Scott, Michelle Williams, and Stephen Graham. As far as the trailer of Venom: Let There Be Carnage is concerned, the plot of the movie will transform Harrelson into Venom, after his appearance in the post-credit scene of the previous film.

After multiple delays due to the global pandemic, Venom: Let There Be Carnage will get its theatrical release on September 24.
