Warning: this story contains spoilers for The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Similar to the mysterious bounty hunter that he plays in the Star Wars galaxy, Temuera Morrison is keeping silent about a possible “Luke Skywalker moment” that could perhaps rival The Mandalorian. The finale of the second season of the series ended with revealing Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (a Return of the Jedi era Mark Hamill) and also, droid sidekick R2-D2, who come to collect the Grogu from Din Djarin. While appearing in an interview with TVLine, Morrison showed some ignorance when asked if The Book of Boba Fett could have its own Skywalker-moment on par with The Mandalorian:

“Who are we talking about? Who is that guy [Luke Skywalker]? This is The Book of Boba we’re talking about here,” Morrison deadpanned to TVLine. “Who’s that other guy mentioned? Isn’t he in those other big movies? This is The Book of Boba, okay?”

In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Morrison only divulged that the Mandalorian spin-off is “brimming with surprises,” even teasing fans that they should “wait till episode 7. Wow!”

The Book of Boba Fett has marked the live-action debut of Black Krrsantan, a bounty hunter and Wookie gladiator from the canon Star Wars comics, with some more surprise villains yet to be revealed in the remaining episodes. Unlike the Luke Skywalker cameo which was kept under strict wraps by Disney until the episode aired on Disney+, fans should actually be cautioned as recent online rumors might have spoiled a Skywalker-level reveal in Boba Fett.

“Things turn up you don’t expect, you see things we couldn’t believe we got to do,” series director and executive producer Robert Rodriguez told THR about The Book of Boba Fett. “Every episode has big surprises.”

You can watch the new episodes of The Book of Boba Fett as they premiere Wednesdays on Disney+. The series will air its season finale with “Chapter 7” on February 9.
