‘It made me more mindful’: Kim Kardashian Credits Vegan Diet for Helping Her Psoriasis as She Endorses Plant Based Foods to Make Fans Forget Kardashians’ Private Jet Controversy

American Socialite Kim Kardashian has pulled a new stunt to seek media attention from Kardashians’ private jet controversy. She was recently in the highlights after breaking up with comedian Pete Davidson whom she dated for less than a year. She recently shared about her skin disease and endorsed plant-based foods to make fans forget about flaunting her private jet while her sister Kylie Jenner reportedly traveled a short distance from her private jet.

The 41-year-old socialite has been open about her Psoriasis, a condition that causes scaly patches to flare up on your skin, particularly around your scalp, elbows, and knees. This skin disease has no cure however with the help of proper medication, it can be managed. Apart from her, Kris Jenner suffers from this disease in the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The 41-year-old SKIMS founder on her sister Kourtney Kardashian‘s lifestyle blog Poosh shared how her skin disease Psoriasis was managed through her vegan diet. When the socialite was asked about who gave her the idea to endorse plant-based foods, she shared, “I can’t exactly remember how I got into plant-based, but I know I watched documentaries during quarantine that made me want to try again.” 

She also shared about her struggle with the skin disease stating how the plant-based diet helped her especially vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free tacos which “I eat them at least once a week,” adding, “I just do my best to stay as plant-based as possible, unless it’s a treat day.” 

She also added that the “sea moss smoothies” the mother of four often drinks “are great because they’re very anti-inflammatory. I try to eat as many anti-inflammatory and antioxidant foods as possible.”

Adding to her statement, she shared that the plant-based diet affects her in other aspects as well. “It’s made me more mindful about how what I put in my body affects me, not just psoriasis but also my mood, my stress levels, my energy, everything.”

While her vegan diet is important, it really came out at a great time especially when her family was busy flaunting their private jets. Belonging to one of the most influential families in the world, the Kardashians are among the high-profile celebrities who recently faced major backlash with their private jet controversy. Kim K‘s sister Kylie Jenner shared a photo of her private jet on her Instagram account and faced major backlash who reportedly even used it for a mere 3-minute flight with many referring to her as a ‘Climate Criminal.’

The mother of four back in June made headlines for flexing her $150 million private jet covered with cashmere from floor to ceiling. She received major backlash for the same who took a 17-minute ride on the plane, using “two tons” of carbon dioxide per trip as reported by The Sun. Her lavish jet also known as ‘AIR KIM’ debuted on Hulu’s The Kardashians who was then slammed for flaunting her rich jet.
