Cardi B seems to be trying her best to stay positive and spread her ray of happiness with her husband, Offset. The duo had a fair share of ups and downs in their relationship, however, things went pretty gloomy when the latter’s cousin Takeoff died earlier this month after being shot in Houston. Due to this tragedy, the rapper is in extreme pain that is hovering over him.

As per recent reports, the Manhattan-born singer is trying her best to keep her husband Offset happy, even though they are going through a hard time coping with the unfortunate event.

Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, who goes professionally by the name Cardi B, in a conversation with The Neighborhood Talk opened up about the situation, she with her husband Offset, are going through weeks after Takeoff’s death.

She shared, “We’re living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy.”

Even after the mishap, she acknowledged the fact that people are getting to feel “comfortable trying to be funny.”

She added that their real feelings would be deemed something else if they were to open up about their true feelings.

“I feel like if I talk about – the internet’s so desensitized – how we really feel, what mother–kers really been going through, y’all would start saying, ‘Oh sympathy.’”

“We don’t want no sympathy,” she added. “We ain’t no charity case, but no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, Trying to make him crack a smile.” She further stated that she had seen her husband randomly start crying or trying to distract his mind which has broken her heart.

The youngest member of the hip-hop trio Migos, 28-year-old Takeoff, died in Houston on the morning of November 1. He was killed around 2:30 am at a bowling alley, according to the witnesses and law enforcement sources after an altercation broke out over a dice game.

As per the reports, senior members of Migos, Takeoff and Quavo, were at the alley playing dice and got involved in some sort of argument that got serious when someone opened fire and shot the youngest rapper. The shooting happened at a bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.

The Clout rapper opened up about his grief over the death of his cousin and shared the immense pain he felt after losing him. He wrote on Instagram, “The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words.”

Offset was saddened by the unfortunate event, wanting it to be a bad dream, however, he ended that message by asking for “strength” and telling his late family member that he loves him forever.
