John Wick Spinoff Featuring Sofia Hinted By Halle Berry

Remember Sofia Al-Azwar who was one of John Wick’s key allies in the third chapter of John Wick – Parabellum, even helping him while Wick was on the run after he was declared as an “excommunicado” by the High Table. Despite this, it looked like the manager of Casablanca’s Continental Hotel will not be present in John Wick 4.

“Sofia’s not in the next John Wick movie,” Berry went on to confirm in an all-new interview in IGN, where she revealed a bit before the release of Moonfall, where she will be seen playing a starring role.

Halle Berry’s comments confirm the whole speculation that even Sofia will not be present in John Wick’s next film, which is right now, slated for a release in 2023. All Sofia fans shouldn’t really feel a lot in despair, however, as Halle Berry reveals that a spinoff might be in the works.

“There could possibly be a Sofia…her own movie,” Berry said. “So she might not be in John Wick, but she might be doing her own thingy-thingy.”

Halle Berry also described the project as “putting some ointment on a little sore,” where she was referring to the canceled Die Another Day spinoff which was supposed to feature Berry’s character Jinx, who also served as James Bond’s love interest in the movie. Halle Berry has expressed disappointment over the movie’s cancellation, which would certainly have been quite a unique turn for one of the Bond Girls in the series.
