Kanye West Reportedly Going Missing To Avoid Being Served $4.5M Contract Lawsuit is Proof Once Billionaire Rapper May Soon File for Bankruptcy
Kanye West has been the most controversial high-profile celebrity in recent times. He frequently ranted on social media and accused his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her family of ruining his children. Quite recently, he has been facing major backlash as he was accused of praising Adolf Hitler. Also, the antisemitic statements have earned him the title of ‘Antisemite of the year’.
Apart from his public image, his financial status has also taken a great hit. The Donda rapper lost his Billionaire status after the end of his collaboration with Adidas and is now amid a $4.5 million lawsuit. His former employee is allegedly suing him as he wasn’t paid the full amount he was owed. Now the rapper has allegedly gone missing, proving that he soon might be declaring bankruptcy.
The $4.5 Million lawsuit against Kanye West
Thomas St John is Kanye West‘s ex-business manager and is reportedly suing the rapper. According to sources, John wasn’t paid the full amount for his services. As reported by The Sun, John “wasn’t paid for the 18-month guaranteed term working as Ye’s senior financial advisor and Chief Financial Officer.” John started working for the controversial rapper back in October 2021 and he was supposed to get paid $300K per month for his services. However, Ye reportedly fired him in January 2022. Furthermore, the ex-business manager did not even receive the $900K for the work done by him in those three months.
When John approached Ye about the details of his contract, Ye called the terms of the contract, ‘bullshit‘. He reportedly said, “You’re insane for even thinking I would stick to it.” Therefore, Thomas St John has filed a lawsuit for $4.5 million for damages.
The Heartless rapper has reportedly gone missing
A post was shared on Twitter that read, “Kanye West has reportedly been missing and unable to find for weeks according to his ex-business manager.” In previously obtained court documents, it was reported that John wanted an extension to serve the documents to the American rapper. John confirmed that he has tried various methods of contacting Ye or his attorney but has failed so far. The documents even said, “As a general matter, we have had difficulty confirming the best current address of Kanye West.”
It was further mentioned that the current residential address of the Runaway rapper is unknown. According to the documents, John has tried to reach Ye at three possible addresses but he wasn’t successful at any of them. The concluding statement of the documents said that John and his team will make their best efforts to locate Ye and serve him the court documents. They might even hire “appropriate agencies” to locate Ye.
In other news, Ye’s ex-bodyguard Steve Stanulis has opened up about his views of the rapper. Steve Stanulis worked for Ye’s head of security back in 2016 for only 15 days. Now he is all set to drop his tell-all documentary 15 days with Kanye.
