A highly successful entertainment industry expert testifies that Hollywood actress Amber Heard lost $50 million in endorsements and TV and film income because of allegations of domestic violence against Johnny Depp. With that being said, Amber’s legal team called Kathryn Arnold as the sixth-week trial began. She was called along with an orthopedic surgeon and a psychiatrist. Heard’s legal team was also supposed to call Depp but they stepped back from doing so.
Amber Heard Suffered A Setback After Getting Accused As An Abuse Hoax
Actress, Amber Heard’s side argues that she has faced what can only be described as a severe career blow-back due to the backlash of becoming one of the many women accused of abuse. However, on the other hand, Kathryn Arnold testified that she cannot work primarily because of the online hate she is facing. Later, Arnold tried to make a point by highlighting Heard’s earnings comparing the same with others like Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, and Ana de Armas. Amber Heard earned around $1 million for Aquaman and signed a $2 million contract for the sequel. However, the actress claimed that she had to fight really hard to get her position secured in Aquaman 2.
Johnny Depp’s “Abuse Hoax” Claim Made Amber Heard Lose $50 Million
In 2019, Depp filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard accusing her of defamation after she wrote a Washington Post op-ed in December 2018 describing herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” Heard filed a $50 million counterclaim after Waldman described her as a “hoax.” Amber Heard called on a psychiatrist, David Spiegel, who testified that Johnny has been violent in the past and destroyed things he owned.
