Lance Reddick’s Cause of Death: Mystery Behind the Death of John Wick Star

Lance Reddick, an actor, and musician have gifted the audience with many remarkable performances. His sad demise left a lot of the film-lovers in shock. The actor’s most notable performances were in The Wire, Bosch, Fringe, and last but not least John Wick. Not only just fans, but his co-workers are also lamenting his loss and paying tribute to the talent in whatever way possible. How did Lance Reddick die?

Everybody’s beloved  Charon from the John Wick franchise died at the age of 60. Lance Reddick was found dead in Los Angeles, at his Studio city house. His body was found Friday morning around 9:30 AM, law enforcement has confirmed. The cause of his sudden passing has not been determined yet and has been cited as “unclear” for the moment.

Reddick was set to appear on the Kelly Clarkson show as a part of his press tour for promoting the last part of the John Wick movie, which unfortunately won’t be possible anymore. Prior to this, he was also a no-show to the New York premiere of the movie, he instead blew some steam off with his dogs at home and shared a selfie while doing so. However, fans never received an explanation as to why he was absent from the event. All these series of events raise suspicion about the cause of his death. But law enforcement later said his death appeared to be natural, although the exact reason was still under investigation.

Lance Reddick will continue to wow audiences even after death

Although gone too soon, the actor will continue to spread joy even after his passing through the projects which are yet to be released. Fans are mourning his loss and hope to enjoy watching him on the screen one last time. He will be seen in John Wick: Chapter 4, the final film from the franchise, reprising his role as Charon. He will also be seen in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, a new Disney+ series as the Greek god of sky and thunder, Zeus. The actor will also be seen in White Men Can’t Jump reboot and Shirley. In a joint statement, Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski stated,

“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick,–He was the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family, and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly.”

Although, heartbroken fans are elated that the actor will be seen in so many new projects throughout the year. Though the actor parted ways with the mortal world, it will continue to remember him and his eloquent performances. Fans throughout the world are praying for his family, may his soul rest in power.
