Loki In ‘a Context You’ve Never Seen Him in Before’
Who doesn’t love the star Loki? He has been featured in numerous memes and hilarious posts all over social media in recent times. Loki star Tom Hiddleston says the Disney+ series will put his character into a brand-new context.
Hiddleston talks about the Disney+ series
Hiddleston spoke about the series ahead of his Broadway debut and asked about his upcoming Disney+ series, which will see the God of Mischief hopping through history.
“It’s very, very exciting because in many ways it’s the character you know, but in a context, you’ve never seen him in before. And if I say any more, I’m gonna say too much. So that’s what’s so thrilling — there’s so much to explore that I haven’t yet explored. That’s very exciting.”
Loki will pick it up after Endgame
At Comic-Con International in San Diego that happened recently, we earned the information that Loki will pick up after Avengers: Endgame. More specifically, it will follow the 2012 version of Loki who absconded with the Space Stone following his failed invasion of New York.
Because of that, all of the character development that has occurred from Thor: The Dark World to Avengers: Infinity War will be erased, and the Loki audiences follow on the show will be one still very much embedded in villainy.
Not much known yet
Hiddleston’s hints, however, gave away that we will likely see new shades of the character emerge. After all, we know and agree that he has the potential to be more heroic. Though only scarce details are available to be sure about anything, more is hoped to be revealed about the show ahead of its debut. Unfortunately, that won’t be until the spring of 2021, so it will still be quite an impatient wait for fans.
