Joker’s success in the big screen has made talking about the film essentially hard to ignore. Almost all aspects of the film were appreciated, from the casting to the direction and plot device. Critics and fans alike praised Phoenix’s award-winning performance as well. The film may have revolved around the darker personality of Arthur Fleck, however that as well may not be the most discussed scene. The most talked about scene from the film, also the most viral one, has almost nothing to do with crime at the least.

The famous set of stairs have become a tourist attraction for many fans

The video released on Twitter, and eventually spread its way through social media. Clearly, Joker fans wouldn’t have expected to see the actual behind the scenes of the iconic video so soon. The video is slightly grainy, but it shows a man who is undoubtedly Phoenix, at the beginning moments of his dance.

The stairs scene marks one of the introductory moments of his identity as ‘Joker’

The video shows Joaquin Phoenix getting into character prior to the shot. He visibly wipes his hands on his pants and does smaller movements to get into the mentality of Arthur Fleck at that point of time. The video sees the actor tapping his foot rhythmically before dancing with slow movements. Unfortunately, the video gets cut off just as Arthur makes his way down a few steps.
