Last year, Sony producer Amy Pascal might have jumped the gun a little while outlining her intentions for yet another trilogy of Spider-Man films with star Tom Holland as the titular character, it seems like they’re almost definitely going to happen.

More Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland are on their way!

As things stand at the moment, Tom Holland’s fourth solo film is the only one officially confirmed to be under development, and even then it’s been just a month since Spider-Man: No Way Home was released onto an unsuspecting world, where it has gone on to rank as the eighth highest-grossing movie ever made.

There is absolutely no doubt that we shall be seeing Tom Holland’s Peter Parker back on our screens for a few more times, and while accepting No Way Home‘s trio of Golden Tomato awards from Rotten Tomatoes, the 25 year-old actor teased multiple sequels on their way.

“Guys, Spider-Man: No Way Home has received three Golden Tomatoes, so I just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of everyone from Sony and Marvel, the critics, the fans who have shown so much love and respect and support for our movies. It means the world and hopefully, we can do it again and again and again. But thank you, thank you, thank you. And we’ll see you soon.”

For now, the burning question around Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 is how it could be topping the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it seems as though Marvel Studios and Sony aren’t even trying, at least in terms of scale, scope, and spectacle. The end of the threequel went on to wipe the slate clean, sending Peter off to college with less to worry about than we’ve become accustomed to seeing in the MCU until now.
