Hulk star Mark Ruffalo has finally responded to the “you’re fired” tweet by the Russo brothers on Twitter.

Earlier, Ruffalo revealed the title of Avengers 4 during an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The actor then took to Twitter and requested Fallon to censor the reveal.

“[Jimmy Fallon], I trust that you will cut my spoiler slip on the show tonight,” Ruffalo tweeted. “That was ‘off the record’ homey. Please don’t get me in trouble with Marvel (Barry) again. DM me back. M”

However, Fallon did censor the title, even adding a black bar over Ruffalo’s mouth. But this wasn’t enough for Russo Brothers. They posted on twitter saying, “Mark, you’re fired.”

Now, Ruffalo has replied back saying, “Guys… can we talk about this?”

While Fallon did bleep the title, Marvel fans managed to remove the bleep and revealed that the title is “The Last Avenger.”

However, this totally doesn’t mean that “The Last Avenger” is going to be the film’s title. If this was done as a bit, it’s likely that Ruffalo made up that title.

However, if it is the real title, it’s a direct reference to the first Captain America film, The First Avenger. This would mean that the film will have a lot more focus on Steve Rogers, which is possible, given that the film will mark an end to his journey in MCU.

Other reports suggest that the title could be Avengers: Annihilation, with its subtitle being taken from a Marvel series of cosmic events.

Avengers 4 will hit the theatres on May 3, next year.
