Actor Mark Wahlberg, who starred in Father Stu last year, has been hinting that he will likely leave the Hollywood industry sooner rather than later. The actor, who has over 60 film credits to his name, wants to spend more time with his family now. The actor is getting ready to leave his custom Beverly Hills home, which was completed less than ten years ago. In April, Wahlberg put the property on the market for $87.5 million, but he has since reduced the price to $79.5 million. The mansion translates to six acres, 30,000 square feet, 20 bedrooms, and 12 bathrooms. For celebrities, Vegas appears to be the new ‘it’ city. Leaving aside the wedding of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in Nevada, it appears that celebrities are swarming to the region. Big names are starting to flock to the area, including David Copperfield, who resides in a stunning mansion that has just everything. The house resembles a luxurious resort, in fact.

Not only is Mark Wahlberg selling his house, but he’s also demanding a sizable sum of money. If he sells the house for the asking price, it will be the second-largest sale in Southern California this year, according to the LA Times. The lavish chateau-style house is located in a gated neighborhood in Beverly Park in Los Angeles on a 6.2-acre land parcel. It has a main house, a separate guesthouse, a pool cabana, and a viewing pavilion next to the sports court. They add up to the 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms on the property. The massive structure’s exterior features French countryside-inspired design elements, designed by architect Richard Landry. Entering through the front doors reveals a double-height space with custom millwork and a grand staircase with elaborate iron balusters. There are fireplaces in each room, including one of the bathrooms, and the majority of rooms have coffered ceilings.

Mark Wahlberg builds a second shelter

Mark Wahlberg doesn’t have to wait for the sale of his Beverly Park house because he has a massive net worth of $400 million. His initial strategy, according to The Dirt, was to relocate the family to Florida. Wahlberg ultimately changed the plan by purchasing land in Las Vegas. Wahlberg paid $15.6 million for 2.5 acres on which to construct a luxurious mansion in the Summit Club, according to information published by The Dirt. The actor also bought a temporary residence for his family to live in while the construction of the new purchase is underway. In an interview with People, Wahlberg said that Vegas has a great deal of potential to become an upscale version of Hollywood.
