Fans all around the globe are heartbroken over the movie not winning anything at Oscars. They wanted Robert Downey Jr. to be nominated for his role as Iron Man in the film. However, that did not happen.
Nomination for Avengers: Endgame

There is no denying that the movie deserved an Academy Award for it’s awesome visual effect. The entire film focuses on bringing together different elements that completes the three hour movie, doing justice to fan’s expectations.
Critics of the movie

In the wake of the loss, the fans had to face critics of the Marvel movie repeating refrains from Martin Scorsese’s comments in that Empire interview last week. Back then he said, “I don’t see them. I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being.”
Then later he stated on Popcorn with Peter Travers, “It might be cinema to the kids seeing those films, but I don’t get it. Or least let me put it this way: I’ve seen one or two, that’s enough. Because it’s the same thing over and over, you know?”
Despite the comments made the critics of the movie worldwide, fans took it to twitter to express their disappointment over the movie losing the award to 1917.
