The ongoing Old Man Logan series might be coming to an end but Marvel seems ready to tell one more story starring the elderly Wolverine.

Dead Man Logan is going to be a twelve issue limited series by Ed Brisson and Mike Henderson that will feature Wolverine returning to his timeline to finally seek revenge on Mysterio, the man who tricked Wolverine to kill the X-Men. This series will mark an end to the Old Man Logan saga.

Brisson told Newsrama in an interview recently that Old Man Logan will be tying the loose ends together and will feature him seeking revenge on Mysterious. Here’s what he said:

“This is it. This is going to be the big, final Old Man Logan. Logan’s dying and still has a lot of unfinished business to attend to. Dead Man Logan will largely be Logan tying up loose ends – loose ends like Mysterio, the man who, in Old Man Logan’s timeline, caused him to kill all of the X-Men. That’s not a box that Logan’s going to leave unchecked. We’ve got lots of big battles and some crazy stuff in store. With a title like Dead Man Logan, it’s probably no surprise where we’re going. This one’s all about the journey.”

Old Man Logan was originally created by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven where Mysterio uses his illusion powers to get Wolverine kill all the X-Men. After he murdered everyone, he lived with his family for years until Hulk Gang murdered them. Old Man Logan has also been introduced during Secret Wars event as he was among those alternate universe characters who were taken over to the Main Universe once the event was over. He even went on to re-join X-Men but his healing factor soon reduced to almost nothing.

Dead Man Logan comes out later in November. Are you excited about it? Let us know in the comments below.
