However, their vacation is going to be cut short when a recognizable, but radically strong enemy yields. This week, Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #1 hit the shelves at your local comic store and not even halfway through the first narrative, it had already started setting the groundwork for its next large cosmic spectacle in the House of Ideas. The death of Rocket begins here in “FAITHLESS” Part 1 Obviously, it seems as if a different cosmic occasion could be coming up over the year. As with cosmic events previously, the seeds to the narrative have been implanted incredibly early, together with the battles building up over several titles. I mean, consider Annihilation, War of the Kings or even the latest Infinity Wars run. Now sure, this may not be contributing to a massive event like the three above titles, but it might seem to be establishing quite the dramatic narrative arc at Guardians of the Galaxy. In fact, a teaser at the end of the issue mentioned it’d last in Guardians of the Galaxy #7 outside this summer. The solicitation for that comic is below.
