An Announcement from Walt Disney Studios:

Walt Disney Studios Has Delayed Several Marvel Movies

Walt Disney Studios announced a change to its future film release schedule on Monday. Among the changes were many upcoming Marvel Studios films for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Marvels, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are among the films affected by the extension until 2023. One of Marvel’s planned unnamed films has been pushed back a week, while two others, one of which is thought to be Blade, have been dropped altogether from the calendar. Disney’s forthcoming Indiana Jones sequel was also impacted by the delays. A live-action Disney film and a 20th Century Studios production were both dropped from the schedule.

The updates were announced by Disney in a press release. The following is a comprehensive list of Marvel Studios moves:

1. DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS:

Three Marvel Untitled movies have also been postponed, with two of them being dropped from the schedule.

6. UNTITLED MARVEL (Disney) previously dated on 7/28/23 is removed from schedule

7. UNTITLED MARVEL (Disney) previously dated on 10/6/23 is removed from schedule

8. UNTITLED MARVEL (Disney) previously dated on 11/10/23 moves to 11/3/23

As a result of these adjustments, there will be three Marvel Cinematic Universe films released in 2022 rather than four. It also implies that there will be a five-month gap between the final MCU film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the next theatrical entry of the franchise, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, in 2021. However, as in 2021, Disney+ programs will most likely fill the vacancy.

The remaining Marvel movies of 2021:

Marvel Studio’s Phase 4 Doctor Strange 2, Thor 4, and More Delayed

This time, the final remaining Marvel Studios releases for 2021 remain unchanged. The Eternals will be released on November 5th, after earlier being delayed owing to the coronavirus epidemic. Spider-Man: No Way Home will also be released in December.
