Matt Reeves has added the A- list actors like Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell, in his upcoming project The Batman. Now, he has announced that the character of Carmine Falcone will be played by John Turturro, the Big Lebowski star.
ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Turturro will play the character of Carmine Falcone, leader of the fabled Falcone Crime Family. It is an organised crime design that has become an institution of the Gotham City underworld. Reeves

STAR CAST OF THE BATMAN
In addition to Turturro, Serkis (Alfred), and Farrell (The Penguin), The Batman will star Robert Pattinson in the lead role. Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Jim Gordon are all ready to set fire to the big screen.
ROBERT PATTINSON’S TAKE ON BATMAN
In a recent interview, Pattinson said that he is not interested in playing a comic book character who’s heroic, hinting this take on the Caped Crusader is a darker tone than anything that the audience has seen before.
“The only time I want to play a character that the audience will appreciate is when they are not ready to praise it at all,” Pattinson told Variety. He said that Batman is a troubled person. People regard very few characters as a heroic character who will save the day. Robert Pattinson always found it interesting to know that Batman is continually struggling in some iterations of the stories. He doesn’t know if he’s that great or not, but he finds it quite fascinating. He is walking the line all the time.
The Batman is expected to hit theatres on June 25, 2021.
