Justin Timberlake apologized on Instagram for his dance moves (especially his footwork) at a recent festival (Pharrell Williams’ Something in the Water Music Festival) that went viral. The 41-year-old Grammy winner addressed the issue humbly over his social media profile. He was then performing on one of his hit songs, SexyBack.
“It Wasn’t My Fault, It Was The Khakis, The Khaki Vibe” – Says Justin Timberlake
Timberlake took it to Instagram and shared a video while apologizing for the dance moves he highlighted during Something in the Water Music Festival on the 18th of June. In the video, the singer echoed loud that:
D.C. I want to apologize to you for two reasons. Here and here! I had a long talk with both of them individually and said, ‘Um don’t you ever do that to me again. Maybe it was the khakis, khaki vibe. I’ll make this up to you. I’m going to focus on these two guys right here and get them right. Love y’all.
The Singer And Song Writer Shared Videos Of Others Who Mimicked Him
He then shared on his account some videos of fans mimicking his moves. There sure are some talented fans! With that being said, Pharrell Williams held an exciting new festival, dubbed ‘Something in the Water.’ The colorful event was extremely well-received by attendees who all seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The event has already received a ton of praise from numerous individuals and publications. Acknowledging the spotlight that is typically put on Pharrell Williams himself, he reasoned that the festival was meant to encourage human connection through meeting new people.
Other performers this year included Justin Dave Matthews Band, Ashanti, Usher, Tyler the Creator, and Calvin Harris.
