Even though she’s a non-villain, Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch reminds us of what is really important in life – our family. Since her introduction in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Wanda has been the subject of many fan theories revolving around different versions of the character and the line between good and evil.  Since her appearance in Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness will soon be airing, fans are now chomping at the bit with theories about their favorite practitioner of chaos and reality-bending magic. In this regard, these are the 5 Scarlet Witch fan theories that are too chaotic to be true –

Wanda Will Create Her Own Pleasantville

The MCU will be adapting its take on the House of M storyline. In it, Scarlet Witch is driven to deadly experimentation with her powers after suffering from depression. She realizes that she effectively had lost both of her children in the fictional Pleasantville setting that she created and populated with various characters. Vision becomes the stand-in for her kids. As a result of her mental breakdown, Doctor Strange 2 will deal with some of the fallout. But apparently, by the end of the film, this reality will be fixed.

Wanda Underwent An Evolution In Endgame

Wanda Maximoff has incredible powers and has turned into one of the MCU’s most powerful characters, due to her seemingly evolving Infinity Stone capabilities. It was the Mind Stone that unlocked her abilities in the first place. In Infinity War, Wanda did not fare so well against Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight during her stand-off against them. But she managed to hold off Thanos for a time during the Endgame. This suggests that Wanda’s powers have evolved.

Ultron Was In Love With Her

When Wanda turned against Ultron during their train endeavor, it wasn’t actually a trick. She really did turn on her brother’s enemy. Later, after attempting to show something about humanity during his last stand against the Avengers, Vision pointed out to Ultron that he was actually “hurt,” in his own way. Since Vision and Ultron were the AI counterparts, they possibly shared a common humanoid feeling for Wanda.

According to a new rumor, based on the comic book storyline The Infinity Gauntlet, Wanda will re-write reality. Unaware of the new reality being created in one direction, Doctor Strange would set out to discover what has led him to become this weak hero in this new reality that looks much different than he might remember. The result will force him to look into another direction within his past where he was more in tune with his power to take care of the outcome at hand.

The Reality Stone Is Latched To Wanda

Based on Wanda gaining magic and being a leader in the Multiverse of Madness, fans think that because her powers came from a stone, she attracts the Reality Stone. One reason some fans may feel this way is that Wanda seems to be losing control of her powers. Regardless of all this, there’s a major chance that she’ll still be around for a long time – just like how they’re hoping that true comic book Wanda will.
