Meghan Markle Pays Heartfelt Tribute To Queen Elizabeth II After Being Unable To Join Her Majesty During Her Final Hours

She became famous for her role as Rachel Zane on the American television drama Suits before she became engaged to Prince Harry. After she married into the royal family, she gave up acting. Instead, she has fully embraced the role of working royal, utilizing her influence to advance causes she cares deeply about.

It was announced by Buckingham Palace that Queen Elizabeth II passed away on the 8th of September. Prince Harry’s grandmother reportedly died about an hour and a half before he arrived at Balmoral, which comes as a shock.

In honor of the Queen, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made the official website for their royal family black. Yesterday, a statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 96. She was the longest-reigning monarch of Britain at 70 years.

Similar to Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have turned to their websites in the wake of the devastating news to express their sorrow. Additionally, a statement and a stunning portrait of the Queen were uploaded to the website of the Royal Family. The obituary stated, “The Queen passed away quietly at Balmoral this afternoon.”

One source claims that while they perform the necessary upgrades, the official Royal Family website will be down.

“This website is temporarily paused following the announcement of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s death,” the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall said on their website.

According to reports, Prince Harry’s grandmother passed away about an hour and a half before he arrived at Balmoral. Her Majesty’s death was announced from Buckingham Palace at 6.30 p.m. today. However, flight records show that the Duke of Sussex’s plane was still in the air at the time and did not land for another 15 minutes. Following that, at around 7 p.m., onlookers saw him being transported away from the scene in a car.

Soon after the news of Elizabeth’s death broke, Prince Harry arrived in Scotland.

Since Meghan Markle was in Germany promoting the Invictus Games, leaving Prince Harry to travel there without her. He joined the rest of the Royal Family at their Scottish home to mourn the death of the Queen.

This evening in London, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was nominated for the WellChild Awards, but Harry had to leave the ceremony to spend time with his family in Balmoral. He had been expected to give a speech at tonight’s celebration commemorating the courage of kids who deal with long-term medical conditions, but he has already canceled. A source has hinted that Meghan Markle may join Harry in Scotland for a funeral.
