Guardians of the Galaxy star Micheal Rooker has reportedly quit Twitter after director James Gunn was fired for his offensive tweets.

Disney canceled out all its ties with the Director for his comments on rape and pedophilia dating from 2008 to 2012. Gunn went on to apologise saying that those jokes were made during a period when he was more of a provocateur. But his statements were branded as indefensible by Disney as they announced his departure from Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3.

Earlier Dave Bautista came out in his support and now Rooker has announced that he’s leaving Twitter. He posted on Twitter saying that this would be his last post because he’s very and tired and upset about the ongoing “bullshit” and won’t use his Twitter again. However his Facebook and Instagram account will still be active. Rooker and Gunn had been close to each other since Slither in 2006.

Gunn had already completed a draft of Vol. 3 which was to begin its filming in January, 2020 but now it’s unknown whether things will take place the same way as Gunn had planned.
