An Easter egg in the new Morbius trailer can give Green Goblin a future that goes beyond Spider-Man: No Way Home. One of the most exciting aspects of No Way Home is that it is bringing back some classic Spider-Man villains. Our favorite villains like Doc Ock and Electro are returning. This proves that the movie is indeed using the multiverse to rope in characters from Sony’s other two Spider-Man franchises. But one character who is a traditional Spider-Man villain, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin seems to have a long future in the MCU, apart from No Way Home thanks to an Easter egg in the recent Morbius trailer. Check it out!

Morbius Easter Eggs Extends Green Goblin’s MCU Future

So far, speculations are that all the multiversal threats that we will see in the movie will be a one-time show. Either the movie will end with their deaths (most unlikely), or everything will be put back in order. However, if we were to put Dafoe’s Green Goblin in the same category, it seems that we could be wrong. Maybe when all the other threats are put back in their place, it looks like Goblin will continue to live.

Sony recently released a new trailer for Morbius and was purely kick-ass. Jared Leto’s performance as the lead seems promising and the character could cause some serious damage. We also loved the Spider-Man and Venom references. However, as you can see in the aforementioned picture, The Oscorp logo on a building proves that Norman Osborn himself – exists in Morbius’ universe.

Of course, nothing is confirmed and these are just speculations but if you know, you know. Apart from Venom and Spider-Man references, the trailer even revealed Micheal Keaton’s Vulture. This only proves that Morbius is leading into the Marvel Cinematic Universe someway or the other. Now, if that happens, then Oscorp too is in the MCU, extending the future of Green Goblin even after Spider-Man: No Way Home. What do you think of this Easter egg? Let us know in the comments below.
