While the Marvel fans are gushing over Eternals, a major movie trailer confirming a longstanding rumor went totally unnoticed. The Morbius trailer came loaded with a bunch of Easter eggs and clues. While many of them have already been decoded and discovered, a few of the really well-hidden ones have escaped our attention. The Morbius trailer has confirmed a major theory regarding Sony’s plans for the future of the Venom-Verse. Turns out, the trailer has hinted Sony is eventually leaning towards making a Sinister Six movie.

Wait what!!

The Game Was Already Afoot Since The First Morbius Trailer

Jared Leto – Morbius

Fans had already suspected that Michael Keaton being a part of Morbius was not just a matter of coincidence. There were definitely greater forces at play there when Keaton was cast in a mysterious role in the movie. The latest trailer has confirmed that Keaton has a bigger role to play than just being a cameo character. The Vulture coming to the Venom-Verse with venom 2 revealing Eddie Brock is now in No Way Home is no longer ‘just a coincidence’. Things are falling into place and Sony is ensuring it happens just the way they want it.

There Have Been Other Hints Too

Kraven

Sony is already moving forward with its Kraven The Hunter movie slated for 2023. The movie will introduce Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Sergei Kravinoff aka Kraven, a major Spider-Man villain. Kraven is another major member of the iconic supervillain team. With venom, Morbius, and Kraven already within Sony’s reach, it is just a matter of time before the other three members show up. No way Home’s trailer hints at Sandman, the Lizard, and even Electro apart from Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. All of them are possible contenders for a spot in the team.

Keaton In Morbius Trailer

In the latest trailer of Morbius, Michael Keaton’s character could be heard telling Doctor Michael Morbius – “you and I should stay in touch.” If Keaton is indeed playing the Vulture, if Morbius and him do stay in touch, it means a Sinister Six movie is no longer just a pipedream. It is very much a possibility. Also it is worth noting that Keaton’s character may not have just said it to Morbius. Other supervillains that piqued his interest would have also gotten a similar offer from him. This just goes on to confirm that a Sinister Six movie is in the making, albeit still on the drawing board.

Sinister Six

It is very much possible that Michael Keaton is about to go on a recruitment drive. He needs allies by his side to take on Spider-Man. Given the sheer amount of villains available within the Spider-Man mythos, the Vulture has a lot of options right now. Morbius, Kraven, Venom, Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, The Lizard, and even Black cat and Rhino are potential candidates.

Sony might be giving solo movies to Sinister Six villains that are relatively unknown to casual movie-goers. The ones that are already well-known like Doctor Octopus and Electro will just be showing up in Spider-Man 4: Sinister Six.
