Can anything ever be perfect in life? No. But can they be better? Yes. Especially when we talk of movies, something that is fantastical, it can be better. Some scenes in the movies just touch our hearts. But some just make us question. Why? Why is this happening this way? This could have been done instead of this. Ever felt that? We’ve felt this quite a few times while watching some movies. There are times when characters do such dumb things that it just leaves us with nothing but to question! It’s not like we hate those characters. We just mean they could’ve been done in a better or different way. So, here’s a list of the dumbest things characters have ever done in movies. Check it out! You can also comment and let us know what according to you was the dumbest thing a character did in movies!
1. Home Alone
This is a no-brainer. Instead of calling the police or anybody for help, this little boy who is alone because he was left behind by his parents mistakenly decides to fight the thieves. All. By. Himself. Kevin, could call and order a pizza but not the police from the same telephone?
2. Home Alone 2
Looks like the makers of both the movies must be thinking of something else while filming. While everybody was running at the airport to catch their flight, Kevin stopped. Why? That’s because he wanted to change some batteries. Something that he could’ve done later, right? Moreover, he asks his dad to wait for him. Lol. Cute.
3. The Little Mermaid
For many, this film was a total fantasy. But is it? A mermaid falling for a stranger who she had never spoken to and gave up everything for him. This is not a love story people approve of now. Ariel, you should’ve at least tried to know him!
4. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
In the movie, Lara addressed all of these love letters. However, she had no intention of sending them. Such a waste of time, I swear. Don’t you think?
Edward warned Bella that he’s a predator, a dangerous predator, and Bella just played it cool and anyway went ahead dating him. Why, Bella?
6. The Devil Wears Prada
Getting your dream job is not easy. And you wouldn’t dare to put it down, right? However, we have Andy in the movie turning down her dream job just to follow her boyfriend. Looks like love makes one blind! I’d never do that, would you?
I don’t understand why it is almost the female character changing or sacrificing for the male? No, not all of them do, but the ones who do, they’re just plain weird. In this movie, they’ve shown Sandy changing herself completely for Danny Zuko, a person who couldn’t even do the bare minimum for her!
