The thanksgiving this year is not looking good at least for Tom Brady as he received a forfeit in the recent game that happened this Sunday. The NFL star was going through a positive phase in his professional career since his divorce from his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen got finalized last month. However, the Bündchen curse has come back to bother the star.
Brady was in a positive light especially since his presence in the game skyrocketed the team’s performance and led to victory in the past few weeks. However, their recent score is showing otherwise.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Lose a Game on Sunday
Tom Brady and his team Tampa Bay Buccaneers were taken to overtime where they tasted defeat to the Browns on Sunday in Cleveland.
The 45-year-old quarterback went for 29 passes from 43 attempts for a total of 246 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. However, his attempts went futile against the Browns with the latter winning by 17-23.
The Tampa Bay team now rests on 5-6 after their loss to the Browns while Cleveland is 4-7. Before their defeat, Brady’s team had a remarkable win beating Seattle in Germany.
It’s quite amusing that the seven-time Super Bowl champion came back for the 23rd season in the NFL. In February this year, he announced his retirement from the game. However, he announced to come out of his retirement just after a few weeks which is also speculated to be the reason behind his divorce from Gisele Bündchen.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s Divorce
The former couple announced their separation last month after weeks of reports about their divorce were in the news. Their relationship started in 2006 with the duo getting married three years after dating each other. They share two children, Benjamin and Vivian. In addition to them, Brady is also the father of Jack, whom he shares with his ex Bridget Moynahan. After 13 years of their marriage, they decided to end it amicably agreeing on joint custody of their children and a fair distribution of their joint assets.
Even though the pair did not release any reason regarding their separation, many reports claimed that it all began to root when the NFL player decided to unretire from the game making things complicated between them. The initial reason for his retirement was reported to be taking care of his family as he never was able to spend quality time with his family due to his hectic schedule. However, reversing his decision to retire led to “epic fights” the then-pair had, leading to their divorce.
Apparently, the Brazilian supermodel has moved on from him and is rumoredly dating Joaquim Valente, a jiu-jitsu instructor.
